Thank you Mostafa :)

We are in the car, and I am sitting next to the driver (my sister), suddenly I hear a car’s horn, so I think: “Who is cursing?” and turn my head to find a taxi driver yelling: “You have a flat tire” I was like: “!!!!”. So we stopped the car (Where we stopped was a place where a lot of cars pass by, and even though it was a Friday morning there were a lot of cars passing).

So here we are 2 girls thinking about how to change a car tire!! 2 girls who never did it on their own before, not because we always had someone to do it for us, but because we only needed to change the tire of the car twice before, and each one of us witnessed it on her own with a different mechanic. 2 girls, 9 o’clock and still can't believe the kind of luck they had on their way to buy cake before going to work. 2 girls with a lot of cars passing by and none slowed down. Then this small VW stopped, and a kid, a skinny tiny kid (looked like in college) stepped out and asked how can he help!! I was kind of shocked, because even though I look petit, this boy looked smaller than I do, and he was ready to help, once he knew it was a flat tire case he instantly asked: “do you have the jack I said not the usual type, but a different one, he thought about it for a second then he started the process of changing the tire.

I will not go into the details of changing the tire, not because it was straight forward, but because we had tried to lift the car more than once, including once with our own hands.

After we fitted the tire, a well-built guy appeared, and started to help, all he did was place the 4 nuts into place and screw them tightly!!!! I was going to burst into laughter; I wanted to ask him “REALLY???? seriously No REALLY????”

This boy looked sooo familiar I was going insane, so I asked him if he goes to a certain college, he said yes, but not the one I guessed, he talked a bit to my sister while I put everything back into the car. We thanked him and each one of us went on their own way.

One of the things that my grandma told me, “No one should stop these days, the amount of horrible things that happen to people who stop to help others is great and he shouldn’t have stopped!!!”

The Guy was extremely helpful and selfless, the kind of person who should be in the streets more often J Thank you wherever you are.

An Old Statement

the pieces are simply falling, neither in place nor in order, i'll collect them with wt's left of me and go to a corner, i wont try to put them back together, maybe they werent meant for each other, maybe the pieces dont belong to one another.

so wt's mine i'll take, and with my breath i'll say, i'm gonna be a better person without those pieces, for maybe they dont complete me, even more, they dont add up anything

i'll not fake it till i make it, i wont say it's not meant to be, wt's meant to be already happened and i'm okay with wtever else is waiting for me,

i dont need a break to gather myself up, and i dont need a shoulder to cry on, for i accept wt happened and i'm continuing my life, for it wont stop, my life wont stop, not even for me.

so i'll continue with wtever that's left in me, i'll continue to be the one i'm becoming, i'll not try to gather it up, i'll not try to see your why, and i dont wanna keep on picking shards of wt used to be me

Not Tired .... So Far

Tired, I should be tired, but I am not, and the reason I am writing this down is because both my sisters are tired and want to stay in the hotel room and rest for tomorrow.

Okay, a late heads up, I am on vacation in Khaleeg Neema with my sisters, and today we spent the day snorkeling.

I didn't wear my eyeglasses, as they were making the mask leak water and it was impossible to see, so in the fear of missing the view I gave them up. It is not a good place for claustrophobic people, as when you wear your snorkeling mask and as soon as you bury your head in the water, you start hearing every forced breath you take, you are forced to stop breathing from your nose, as you cant afford creating fog inside the mask, it will ruin things for you, so you hear every scary sound of breath … VOOOO, VOOOO, in and out, so fast, as this is the first time and you are trying not to panic.

And in the middle of all that, I caught a glimpse of beautiful and wonderful fish swimming here and there, they are not close to me, but they were wonderful, suddenly all the sounds numbed down, and all my thoughts about problems in my life the people I have in my life, all of that, it just stopped… I could see them clearly - though I wasn't wearing my glasses - and every thought stopped, and nothing mattered, it was time to observe nature's work of art and the beauty concealed on a different layer of earth. Corals that were HUMUNGOUS in size and quantity, that scared me at the beginning but it brought me back to my university years when I studied them, it also brought me back to a conversation I had with a friend about their status from an evolutionary point of view.

It was a delightful experience that I would recommend to anyone and to everyone.

P.S : I wanted to add a foto, but I couldn't find anything as beautiful :)
