If the available solution is not quite satisfying then simply, you first start looking for why it is not meeting your expectations, that would facilitate your way toward the best solution, having that figured out, it'll be a downhill process.

What are the factors that would affect your choice of the most preferable solution?

Either you're handling this on your own or working this with other people, trust the participating minds including yours.

Then on determining the possible paths present you'll take into consideration an important factor like time, the less available time, and the more restricted you'll feel

Then the involved people, not those participating in the solution - if there was any - how that'd affect them,

Another factor is monetary =D, determining how much you have, can, and willing to spend is important.

And there's a priority constraint, where you have to value each plan, and align it with your vision and then decide which plan would be more fit to it.

That was by the aid of my Good friend Otaka (A.k.A Faraonoko)
